Plunge

Russian producers Textere Oris and Montren join Silk Sofa with their EP "Plunge," featuring three mesmerizing ambient pieces.

The first track, "Melancholy," introduces the listener to a blissful, yet fairly haunting soundscape. A wealth of sound effects and textures are placed beautifully atop the lush pad layers and subtle bassline notes. In "Generation," a unique atmosphere is quickly established, which includes an array of mesmerizing pad layers, sound textures, and intermittent samples of playing children. Last but not least, "Rain" features unique percussion-inspired effects that provide brilliant texture to the already refreshing and gorgeous soundscape.
