This release was originally marketed as "Project 8149" on the iam8bit website in June of 2021. Several months later they announced the base neon, translucent orange pressing - with this black splatter version only being available to those who preordered the album ahead of September 24th, 2022. It was teased by images of static with quick flashes of close-up pictures of the original release's centre labels, and a cryptic set of text in the item's description. Following the Netflix Tudum event on September 24th, 2022, the page was updated to have the current base album details and artwork, and all pre-orders for the album would be in the base neon, translucent orange colour.
Also features hidden track 'Lost,' hidden behind a fake runout in Side C after 'The Gate'.
This reissue also differs in having a radio static run-in before A1 which the original pressing from 2016 lacks.
