1. Wrecking Days The strandline carries stories of our impact on the planet. I was inspired to write this song by Jane and Nick Darke's beautiful documentary 'The Wrecking Season' filmed on the Cornish coast.

2. Bus Song I wrote this as a 16 year old in rural Somerset, where the local bus was a lifeline!

3. Lamb Developed from a poem by Blake, which for me evokes a stretch of coastline not far from home, up at Steart Marshes near Hinkley Point, juxtaposing nature and mankind, beauty and brutality.

4. Tide and Time Written while watching fishermen work the oysterbeds in Normandy. I've spent a lot of my life foraging for shellfish on French beaches at low tide.

5. Song to the Siren I came across this haunting song from rare footage of Tim Buckley from 1968. This is my own arrangement. “Song To The Siren” written by T. Buckley and L. Beckett. Published by Third Story Music Inc. Admin by BMG Platinum Songs. All rights reserved.
